ABOUT THE ARTIST

Lea Gray, owner and creator of PaperBlooms Design LLC, currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. Lea studied Fine Arts with a focus on landscape painting at the Columbus College of Art and Design. Soon after, she discovered Origami and it lead her into exploring a more intricate path into creating with paper. Her passion and love for nature spawned a new direction in emulating plants, flowers and trees. Lea is continually inspired by nature and is passionate about combining materials and various techniques to capture the essence of each plant she creates. From gathering real branches from nature, to dying and baking papers, she is always taking her work to the next level. As part of her passion, Lea also enjoys teaching her designs at various local workshops.
